5) You can also use sandalwood mixed with rosewater or milk and apply it on the scar and leave it overnight. Sandalwood is a very good skin toner and helps in reducing skin irritation. You can also add black gram to the paste for better results.
6) Neem paste from the Neem tree found in India is also a good way of treating acne and removing scars as it has antibacterial properties and prevents further infection.
7) However, if you need some instant relief, it is advisable to apply icepack on your face and leave it for some time. It helps in reducing inflammation and skin irritation.
It is important to remember that not all remedies work for all people and none of these remedies bring results overnight and you might have to wait for a while before you are able to see the apparent effects.
